Farm Stand orders are based on our semi-weekly estimated harvest quantities and are only available when we have extra produce beyond what our weekly Farm Share Members are receiving. They sell out quickly and inventory may be limited depending on when you place your order.

 Customizable Farm Shares

This spring, River Queen Greens is offering customizable farm shares, delivered to several convenient locations in New Orleans. We're excited to use a new farm share management platform called Harvie, which allows us to offer you choice-based shares and has many other user-friendly features.. Twelve weeks of deliveries will include a robust selection of greens, including a variety of salad, cooking, and microgreens, as well as root veggies, fresh herbs, and other seasonal favorites. All veggies are grown by us, unless otherwise noted.

We are also offering a selection of products from other local farms, such as eggs and mushrooms. 

Participating in a farm share like ours is a great way to support local agriculture and local food. We also believe that it should be a great service to you and your family and friends. By signing up for our farm share, you'll be able to enjoy the flexibility and convenience of customization and delivery to your neighborhood, and you'll be eating some of the freshest, most nutrient-dense produce available in New Orleans every week.

Farm Share Size Options
Small Shares: $24/share.
Typically includes 5-7 items, intended to feed 1-2 people eating moderate amounts of veggies per week.

Typically includes 8-10 items, intended to feed 1-2 people eating a lot of vegetables, or 3-4 moderate veggie eaters.

How to Sign Up

How Customizable Shares Work
Harvie is a tool that we've opted to use to help us deliver the most convenient and flexible farm share for our members. We're excited about its streamlined system to help us manage shares and the flexibility it offers customers. Members will need to sign-up at the Harvie.farm website, which is independent from River Queen Greens. Read more about Harvie.

Once you sign up for a share, you’ll be able to rate all the produce we grow on an incremental scale of “not for me” to “I love it.” Your share will be built based on those preferences and what we have available at the time. If you don’t like beets, you can rate them a “not for me” and you won’t ever see them. If you love kale, give it an “I love it” and we’ll try to get that to you every time they are available.

Prior to each delivery, you’ll have the option to swap out items if you want. Already have enough radishes this week? Just swap them out for something else we have available that week. Or, if you love the surprise of not knowing what's in your share, you can skip customization and we’ll create a farmer’s choice share for you. 

Another perk of Harvie is the ability to place your share on “hold” or reschedule it for a future date if you're going to be out of town or aren't available to pick up. 
How You Pay
When you first sign up, you'll input your credit card information, which will be charged for the first two farm shares. Starting the third time you pick up, Harvie will automatically charge your card on file for each share at the time of delivery. There is no additional sign-up fee, however, by signing up, you are committing to a full spring season, through the end of April. Depending on how the growing season goes, you may have the option of adding a few additional weeks in May.

When you sign up for our farm share through Harvie, you automatically opt-in to be renewed for subsequent seasons. You can always opt-out.
