We have the good fortune to be located in one of the most creative and artistic neighborhoods in one of the most creative and artistic cities in the country. Two incredible local artists, Rebeka Skela and Hugo Gyrl, have each painted a spectacular mural for us and the neighborhood to enjoy.

One of our neighbors just happens to be the talented multi-media artist Rebeka Skela, who offered to paint a mural on the wall overlooking Kentucky St. The piece is full of magical and not-so-magical creatures, and features Rebeka's take on a River Queen. Here at River Queen Greens, we don't mind being watched by Hugo Gyrl's garden goddess. She's our own beautiful, sleepy-eyed neighborhood watch, and you can spot her spotting you as you cross the St. Claude Ave Bridge to the Lower Ninth Ward.
